The Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex – named after the man known as the father of modern soccer in Manitoba – features two synthetic outdoor soccer pitches with lights, and one grass field, all with bleachers for spectators. A clubhouse containing four dressing rooms, referee rooms, public washrooms and an open common area is also available for use. Teams have access to fully covered team shelters at the fields, as well as lockers and a warm-up area behind the clubhouse. The complex was the main soccer venue for the 2017 Canada Summer Games and the 2017 CIS Women’s Soccer Championship, while it was used as a practice facility by many teams during the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Although best suited for soccer, the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex is a great fit for other sports or activities that require a large playing surface.
